Procedural 4 is a collection of detailed and useful procedurally generated textures and materials for Cycles. It contains  18 procedural textures, 6 procedural materials, a procedural planet generator, and a procedural cloud generator.

  1. Download Procedural 4.
  2. Extract the .blend file from the .zip file and place it in a memorable location.
  3. Open a new or existing Blender project.
  4. Click File > Append and navigate to where the .blend file is saved.
  5. Double click the .blend file.
  6. Find the folder named “NodeTree”, then select the textures/shaders you want to use.
  7. Click append in the upper right corner.
  8. In the node editor, press Shift+A > Groups and then select the texture(s) or shader(s) that you’d like to use.

Recommended System Specs:

  • Software: Blender 2.6 or newer with GPU rendering enabled
  • Processor: 3 GHz 4-Core CPU
  • Memory: 8000 MB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 960 / AMD Radeon R9 280x

This asset should work with any system, but speed will depend greatly upon the strength of your system. The better hardware you have, the better Remington’s PBR Shader will function.
